With the pragmatism of an entrepreneur, the rigor of a researcher, and the responsibility of a people's deputy, he identifies pain points, solves problems, and seeks pathways for industrial development. Yitao Air Spring Group is a leading enterprise in China's air suspension sector. Its predecessor was Guangdong Yitao Qianchao Investment Holding Co., Ltd. To expand production, the company settled in Yunfu High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in 2016 and moved its headquarters from Guangzhou to Yunfu in 2021. Ou Yukeng joined the company in 2008, rising from a workshop production supervisor to a corporate executive, and later being elected a deputy to the Yunfu Municipal People's Congress. He has integrated the "spring spirit" — resilience, perseverance, and endurance — forged in the workshop into his public duties, fully promoting high-quality development of the auto parts industry.

 

"Don't underestimate this air spring. Though mainly made of rubber, it can support up to 4 tons," Ou Yukeng says proudly, familiar with more than 100 types of air springs in the company exhibition hall. The company has won national, provincial, and municipal honors including National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise, Guangdong Provincial Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise, Yunfu Outstanding Contribution Award for Investment Promotion, and the 5th Yunfu Municipal Government Quality Award. It undertakes 2 provincial scientific and technological innovation projects and 1 municipal industry-university-research project, holds 123 patents, has independently developed over 2,000 products, and exports 57% of its output.
